Anna Salem is the band director at Soule Road Middle School in the Liverpool Central School District where she conducts the 6th grade Concert Band, 7/8 Band, Jazz Ensemble. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the producer and choreographer of the SRMS Musical. 

 

Prior to 2020, Ms. Salem was the Visual Caption Head and Co-Assistant Director of the Liverpool Marching Band. Under her direction, the SRMS Concert Band was featured in the 2017 Symphoria Spotlight Series. 

 

As an active euphonium player, Ms. Salem performs with the Central Winds: Music Educators’ Wind Ensemble. She also serves as the Band Committee Chair for the Onondaga County Music Educators’ Association.

 

Ms. Salem holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Florida.  She resides in Liverpool, NY with her husband, Steve, and two children, Amelia and Jonah.
